Senior Leasing Consultant - Henderson/Las Vegas, NV
MG PropertiesWhat You'll Actually Do
This role covers two properties simultaneously: Prelude at the Park in Henderson and Pearl at St. Rose in Las Vegas. That dual-site setup means your day shifts between communities, so time management and strong communication with on-site teams aren't optional. You'll be the first contact for prospective residents, qualifying applicants, preparing leases, and coordinating with maintenance to keep move-ins clean. You'll also handle the administrative side, including rental file accuracy, data entry, and the monthly paperwork that keeps a property audit-ready.
Resident relations are part of the job too. Fielding maintenance concerns, addressing complaints professionally, and staying on top of rent collection all fall within your scope. Occupancy goals are real here, and you'll be expected to use genuine sales technique to hit them, not just show apartments and hope for the best. Henderson and Las Vegas maintain a competitive multifamily market with consistent renter traffic, but concessions and lease incentives can shift quickly depending on what new supply is doing nearby. Knowing how to close in that environment matters.
What You Bring
- At least one year of property management or leasing experience, ideally on-site at an apartment community
- Sales ability that's genuine and consultative, not scripted
- Comfort working across two communities and coordinating with multiple teams
- Strong attention to detail for lease preparation and file management
- Professional communication skills with both prospects and current residents
- Familiarity with property management software for data entry and reporting
The Bigger Picture
MG Properties has operated across the Western U.S. for over three decades, with a portfolio that spans acquisition, development, rehab, and fee management. They're known internally for promoting from within, so a Senior Leasing Consultant role here has a real path toward Assistant Manager or beyond for someone who consistently drives occupancy and handles the administrative side with accuracy. The compensation package includes monthly bonuses, profit sharing, a 401k with employer match, full medical benefits, and a rental discount. The dual-site structure also builds a skill set that transfers well: managing relationships across multiple communities, adapting your leasing approach by asset and resident profile, and staying organized under competing priorities are all things that carry weight in mid-size and large-portfolio management roles down the road.
