Resident Support Lead

AIR Communities

Full-time
On-site
Denver, Colorado, United States
$31 - $34 USD hourly
Leasing Consultant

AIR Communities sits among the largest multifamily owners in the country, and this role sits at the center of one of the most operationally sensitive parts of any portfolio: renewals. The Resident Support Lead position is centralized, meaning you're not walking a property every day. You're working across AIR's portfolio, owning a renewal book, handling escalations from onsite teams, and keeping the notice-to-vacate process clean and compliant.

That sounds straightforward until you're managing a resident who's upset about a renewal offer, a system discrepancy in Entrata that's held up documentation, and a coaching conversation with a teammate, all on the same afternoon. This role demands steady judgment more than speed. You'll field calls and emails from residents at difficult moments in their tenancy, process lease documentation accurately under volume, and serve as the person onsite teams call when something falls outside their lane.

Renter's insurance compliance is a real piece of this job, not an afterthought. You'll track it, enforce it, and follow up when residents fall out of compliance. NTV processing requires the same discipline: entries need to be accurate and timely, because errors downstream affect move-out scheduling, unit turns, and occupancy reporting. Data integrity isn't abstract here. It shows up in audits and corrections that you'll own directly.

The lead title carries real weight. You'll support training and coaching within the team, help distribute workload, and assist leadership on reporting and special projects. You're not a supervisor, but you're the person the team leans on when the work gets complicated.

What a strong candidate looks like

Candidates who do well in centralized renewal roles have usually spent time onsite long enough to understand what a busy leasing office actually feels like, but they've also developed the discipline to manage a portfolio from a desk without the physical cues a property provides. Entrata proficiency matters here. AIR lists it as preferred, not optional in practice. If you've generated renewals, managed NTV workflows, and corrected resident account issues inside a property management system, you're starting from the right place. If you've also helped train or guide teammates through process questions, that's the combination this role is built around.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 3 years of relevant property management experience
  • Hands-on experience with lease renewals, resident retention, and notice-to-vacate processes
  • Proficiency with Entrata or a comparable property management system
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple channels
  • Ability to manage a personal workload while supporting broader team operations
  • Comfort interpreting and applying policy in situations that require independent judgment

Pay runs $31 to $34 per hour, with a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with up to 6% employer match, paid parental leave, tuition assistance, and a 25% rent discount at any AIR community. The application deadline is July 24, 2026, though AIR will continue reviewing on a rolling basis after that date.
