Resident Relations Specialist
RedPeakResident relations roles exist at a lot of properties, but they're often just leasing with a different title. This one at RedPeak is structured differently. The Resident Relations Specialist here is a dedicated post-move-in function, which means you're not chasing traffic numbers or pushing lease conversions. You're managing the experience that actually determines whether a resident renews.
What the Role Covers Day to Day
Your primary job is owning the resident relationship from move-in through renewal or move-out. That means week-one and 30-day check-ins with new residents, handling the full range of concerns that come in by phone, email, text, and in person, and working across leasing, maintenance, and property management to get issues resolved before they escalate. You'll document interactions in the property management system, respond to online reviews, monitor satisfaction trends, and flag recurring complaints to the Multi-Site Manager so patterns don't get buried in day-to-day noise.
You'll also conduct regular property walks, keep an eye on common areas and amenities, and coordinate follow-up when anything falls short of community standards. When the Property Manager is out, you step into a backup role within defined escalation guidelines. Fair Housing issues, legal concerns, or anything with significant financial exposure goes up the chain with a clear summary of what's already been done.
Leasing coverage is part of the job when needed. You should be comfortable conducting tours, assisting with applications, and answering lease-related questions. This isn't your primary function, but the expectation is that you know the leasing process well enough to fill in without disruption.
What RedPeak Is Looking For
- At least 2 years in property management, hospitality, or a resident or customer-facing role
- Working knowledge of leasing: tours, applications, and lease terms
- Demonstrated ability to de-escalate difficult conversations and document resolutions accurately
- Sound judgment about what to resolve independently and what requires escalation
- Comfort with property management software and high communication volume across multiple channels
- A collaborative working style, since this role sits at the intersection of leasing, maintenance, and centralized services
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, at the Littleton location. Pay runs $24 to $27 per hour plus bonus eligibility.
Where This Role Leads
Resident relations is one of the cleaner paths into assistant or property manager roles because it builds exactly the skills that matter at the next level: conflict resolution, cross-functional coordination, retention strategy, and operational judgment. You come out of a role like this with a track record on NOI-adjacent metrics, renewal rates, and online reputation management, things that matter on a resume and in an interview for a site leadership position. If you're currently in a pure leasing role and want to move toward operations without jumping straight into manager-level accountability, this is a sensible bridge. The multi-site structure at RedPeak also means you'll have visibility into how decisions get made above the property level, which accelerates that development.
