Property management runs on relationships, and resident-facing coordination is where that reality shows up most clearly. At a well-occupied community, the gap between a smooth operation and a chaotic one often comes down to one person: the one fielding calls, catching lease violations early, and keeping communication between management, maintenance, and residents from falling apart. That's the role here.

John M. Corcoran and Company, a New England-based firm with roots going back to 1951, is hiring a Resident Relations Coordinator for Pelham Apartments in Framingham, MA. The schedule is standard business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00.

What the Work Actually Looks Like

This position sits at the intersection of compliance, customer service, and daily operations. You'll act as a liaison across management, maintenance, local agencies, and law enforcement when situations call for it. Lease compliance is a consistent part of the job: conducting inspections, reviewing police logs, documenting violations, and following through on corrective steps. You'll also coordinate maintenance scheduling, unit inspections, and pest control services while keeping residents informed throughout.

On the front-line side, you're handling inquiries from residents and visitors, directing traffic through the office, and keeping administrative functions running: recordkeeping, incident reports, accommodation requests. You'll also support on-site programs and community events in collaboration with the rest of the team.

Framingham is a diverse city, and this property reflects that. The ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across different backgrounds and handle sensitive situations without escalating them is genuinely important here, not a checkbox.

What JMC Is Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience counts
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations and navigating complex resident situations
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and general administrative systems

Candidates who tend to do well in roles like this are the ones who stay calm when a resident is upset, follow through on documentation without being reminded, and catch a potential lease issue before it becomes a formal problem. Attention to detail and consistency matter more than any single credential.

Pay runs between $23.25 and $34.00 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, paid time off and holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.
