Resident Experience Coordinator | Paseo - Austin, TX
LV CollectiveWhat You'll Actually Do
This role centers on owning the resident experience at Paseo, a LV Collective property in Austin's Rainey Street district. That means you're not waiting for programming ideas to come down from above. You're building the full events calendar from scratch: concepts, budgets, vendor coordination, day-of execution, and post-event reporting. Monthly events, seasonal activations, wellness pop-ups, local chef collaborations, fitness classes, resident appreciation moments. You track attendance and spend, pull patterns from the data, and use that to sharpen future programming.
Beyond events, you're the visible human at the center of the resident experience. You run move-in orientations, host regular coffee chats to gather honest feedback, and partner with the broader team on renewal initiatives. You'll also support daily leasing activities: responding to prospect inquiries, conducting tours, processing applications, and keeping records accurate. Front-office coverage and resident questions are part of the day, too.
Community outreach is a meaningful thread here. You'll cultivate partnerships with local businesses, fitness studios, artists, and hospitality brands, both to enrich on-site programming and to bring the Rainey Street neighborhood into the Paseo experience. You'll work closely with the marketing and social media teams to promote events and keep the property's digital presence current and compelling.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing events, ideally in a hospitality, multifamily, or community-focused environment
- Comfort managing budgets and holding vendors accountable to deliverables and timelines
- Strong written communication skills for newsletters, promotional copy, and resident-facing content
- Genuine ease with people: residents, prospects, vendors, and partners alike
- Organizational habits that hold up when you're running multiple projects with overlapping deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when events demand it
- Curiosity about Austin's local culture, wellness trends, and hospitality scene
Skills This Role Builds
If you're early in a property management career, this role is a strong foundation. You'll build fluency in resident retention strategy, which connects directly to renewal rates and occupancy. You'll get hands-on exposure to leasing operations, giving you context that purely events-focused roles don't offer. Data literacy develops here too: tracking participation trends and measuring what programming actually moves the needle on satisfaction and retention is a transferable skill in any multifamily operator environment.
The distinction worth understanding before you apply: this role requires creativity and relationship-building instincts on day one. Those aren't things you'll develop on the job. The resident analytics mindset, the vendor management depth, and the leasing fluency? Those sharpen over time in a role like this. Come in with the people skills and the hospitality sensibility already intact, and this position will build the operational layer around them.
Candidates who tend to excel here are the ones who stay genuinely curious about Austin's neighborhoods, not just as residents but as cultural observers who can translate what's happening in the city into programming residents actually want to show up for.
