Property Manager

Most apartment operators talk about "support from corporate" in job postings and mean something vague. Weinstein Properties has been family-owned for over 70 years, and their reputation in markets like Nashville is built on a genuinely hands-on management model where regional and corporate teams stay close to site-level operations. That context matters for this role because the Property Manager at Bexley Silo Bend isn't running an island. You're running a 193-unit community inside a company that actually checks in.

Bexley Silo Bend sits in the Nations neighborhood, one of Nashville's faster-growing residential corridors on the west side of the city. The area has attracted Class A product over the past several years, and this community competes in that tier. Weinstein owns and operates over 60 communities across Virginia, North Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, and Georgia, so there's institutional process behind this role even though the ownership is family-based.

What This Role Actually Covers

You'll lead a seven-person on-site team, which means your day splits between people management and operational execution. Resident escalations come to you. Leasing performance, occupancy metrics, and community appearance are your accountability. You'll partner closely with your Maintenance Supervisor on project coordination and make-ready standards, and you'll manage a consistent flow of requests from both residents and the corporate team simultaneously.

Weinstein describes themselves as operations-driven, and that's an accurate framing. Expect defined processes, regular communication with corporate support staff, and clear performance expectations. The structure is real, and so is the oversight. Property Managers here own their communities but they aren't operating without a net. If you've come from a platform where you rarely heard from anyone above your regional manager, this will feel different, in a productive way if you value accountability and in a frustrating way if you don't.

What Strong Candidates Bring

  • Prior on-site property management experience, with Class A multifamily background preferred
  • Comfort managing a small team through delegation, coaching, and direct feedback
  • Organized enough to handle high request volume without dropping follow-through
  • A solutions-first mindset when resident concerns escalate
  • Genuine ease with structured environments and policy-driven operations

The candidates who succeed here tend to be the ones who see process as an asset rather than a constraint. Managing a Class A community in a competitive Nashville submarket means your leasing team's traffic and conversion numbers get scrutinized regularly. If you've managed NOI-focused reporting, handled delinquency actively, and kept occupancy steady through turns, you'll recognize the rhythm of this role quickly.

Compensation is experience-based with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Weinstein is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
