Prelude at the Park is a 200-plus unit community in Henderson, and this role covers the full range of day-to-day maintenance operations. That means working through the service request queue, handling turns and make-readies, and keeping grounds, common areas, and office spaces clean and presentable. You'll do appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, HVAC work, and painting. You're also on the on-call rotation, so after-hours emergencies are part of the deal. If you've done apartment maintenance before, none of this is a surprise.
Henderson runs hot. HVAC calls in summer aren't occasional, they're relentless. A technician who can diagnose and repair A/C units without waiting on a vendor is genuinely valuable here, and that skill will get used constantly from May through September.
MG Properties has been acquiring and managing apartment communities across the Western U.S. for over 30 years. They're a regional operator with real depth, which matters for a maintenance tech. You're not walking into a small outfit where the maintenance program is held together with good intentions. There's structure, there's process, and there's a benefits package that reflects a company that's been doing this long enough to know that retaining good maintenance staff requires more than a paycheck.
Compensation is experience-based, and the package includes monthly bonuses, company profit sharing, a 401k with employer match, and full medical, dental, and vision coverage. PTO, paid holidays, paid personal days, paid sick time, and a rental discount round it out.
For technicians thinking about where this role leads: solid multi-trade experience on a property this size is exactly the background that feeds into lead tech and maintenance supervisor positions. If you're consistent, organized, and residents actually like dealing with you, that path tends to open up faster than people expect.
