Maintenance Technician II (Freewell, Carson, Raleigh, & Saltwood)

The work is bread-and-butter apartment maintenance. Turns, service requests, appliance repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting. You'll troubleshoot major mechanical systems and handle minor repairs independently. Prometheus calls their residents "Neighbors," which signals something about how they expect you to treat people. Residents who feel ignored or dismissed will let you know about it, and you'll need to de-escalate that while still getting through your punch list. That's the real job.

On-call is part of this position. That's not buried in the fine print here. The standby pay and on-call premium are real compensation for that time, not token gestures, but the expectation is genuine availability.

What this role requires

• Minimum two years of apartment maintenance experience
• Hands-on competency across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, and painting
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying conditions
• Basic computer proficiency for work order systems
• Availability for on-call rotations
• High school diploma or GED

Pay runs $26.00 to $27.25 per hour, and the benefits package is genuinely strong.
