What the Work Actually Looks Like

Day to day, you'll handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry for both individual units and common areas. Make-readies and punch list work are a natural part of the rhythm at any residential community, so attention to detail on unit condition matters as much as technical ability. You'll also be part of the on-call rotation, providing after-hours emergency service with support from the Service Manager. The physical demands here are genuine. Lifting up to 50 lbs, extended periods of standing and walking, working on ladders and scaffolding, and accessing confined spaces are regular parts of the role. A valid driver's license is required. EPA Type II or Universal certification and CPO certification aren't required but will strengthen your candidacy.
