Leasing Specialist - Part-Time

Redstone Residential

Full-time
On-site
Provo, Utah, United States
$18 - $18 USD hourly
Leasing Consultant

A prospect walks in mid-afternoon, not sure if they want a one-bedroom or a two. You've got a tour starting in ten minutes, a package pile at the desk, and three resident questions in the queue. That's a normal Tuesday in leasing, and it's exactly the kind of shift this role is built around.

What the Role Covers

Redstone Residential operates more than 38,000 beds across 20 states, making it one of the larger third-party management platforms in the country. This part-time Leasing Specialist position supports a community in Provo, Utah, where Redstone is headquartered. The work sits at the intersection of leasing support and front-desk operations: conducting tours, processing applications, fielding resident questions, managing package intake, and keeping the lobby environment secure and welcoming. You're also a direct extension of the leasing team's KPI push, which means your interactions directly touch traffic-to-lease conversion, even in a support capacity.

Pay starts at $18.00 per hour with the opportunity to earn performance bonuses. A 401(k) plan with up to 6% employer matching is available.

Who Fits This Role

  • One to two years of customer service or sales experience, ideally in a front-facing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort with property management software; experience with Entrata is a plus
  • Ability to stay composed when multiple priorities collide
  • Basic computer proficiency for correspondence and administrative tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Reliability matters more here than most leasing roles acknowledge. Part-time schedules are often the first thing that slips when life gets busy, but this position requires consistent presence. The leasing team depends on this role to keep front-desk operations steady so managers can focus on closing and compliance.

If you have any interest in growing within property management, part-time leasing is one of the cleaner entry points into the field. You build familiarity with traffic management, application workflows, and resident relations without carrying full P&L accountability. Many full-time leasing consultants and eventual assistant managers started exactly here, learning how occupancy goals translate into daily floor activity before stepping into larger roles.
