Leasing consultant roles exist because apartment communities live and die on first impressions. Weinstein Properties is hiring for two Nashville-area communities: Bexley Stockyards in Germantown and The Union in the Nations neighborhood.

Weinstein has been family-owned for over 70 years, operating more than 60 communities across five states. That scale means real infrastructure behind you: structured training, a clear internal promotion path, and processes that aren't being invented as you go. Starting pay is $21/hour, with increases based on experience, quarterly bonuses, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

What the Work Actually Looks Like

Your schedule runs Monday through Friday, 9 to 6, with rotating Saturdays from 9 to 5. Sundays are off. That's a more predictable structure than you'll find in a lot of service jobs, but don't picture yourself sitting at a desk. A good chunk of the day involves walking units with prospective residents, inspecting homes before move-in, following up with people who toured but haven't signed, and keeping the leasing pipeline moving. You'll also support community marketing and help with resident events when they come up.

The honest version: it's physically active, and it requires you to stay organized while switching between tasks quickly. If you've got three prospects scheduled, a few follow-up calls to make, and a move-in inspection before noon, you'll need to keep up without things slipping through. That's the part of this role that trips up people who underestimate the pace.
