Leasing Consultant

Leasing consultant roles sit at the front end of a property's entire revenue cycle. Every lead that converts, every lease signed, every move-in coordinated cleanly feeds directly into occupancy and NOI. For someone building a career in multifamily, this position at 3300 Tamarac Apartments in Denver offers more than a job title. It's where you learn to read traffic, sharpen your sales instincts, and understand how a lease file connects to the financial health of a community.

What the Work Actually Involves

MG Properties is looking for a leasing consultant to handle the full prospect-to-resident journey at this Denver community. That means greeting and qualifying prospective residents, preparing and executing leases, and coordinating with the maintenance team to make sure move-ins go smoothly. Day-to-day, you're also managing rental files, entering data accurately into the property management system, and helping with monthly administrative tasks to keep the property's paperwork current and organized. On the resident side, you'll handle maintenance requests, work through complaints professionally, and support timely rent collection. The role carries real responsibility for keeping occupancy strong, and it shows.

MG Properties has been acquiring, developing, and managing apartment communities across the Western U.S. for over 30 years. They promote from within consistently, which matters when you're thinking about where a leasing role can take you.

Who Tends to Excel Here

A year of property management experience is preferred, and strong sales and customer service skills are essential. But the candidates who get the most out of a role like this are the ones who treat every interaction as a data point. They notice which amenities close tours, which objections come up repeatedly, and how to move a qualified prospect through the application process without unnecessary friction. That kind of attention compounds over time into skills that transfer directly into assistant manager and property manager roles, where you're responsible for the full lease-up picture rather than individual transactions.

  • 1 year of property management experience preferred
  • Strong sales ability and customer service orientation
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with data entry and maintaining accurate leasing records
  • Team-oriented with an interest in growing within a company

Compensation runs $22 to $23 per hour, with monthly and quarterly bonuses and company profit sharing on top of base pay. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer match, paid holidays, sick time, PTO, and a rental discount. This position is anticipated to be filled in December 2025.
