This is a front-line leasing role at a Griffis Residential community in Shoreline, Washington. You'll handle the full prospect-to-resident cycle: fielding inquiries by phone, email, and walk-in, conducting tours, qualifying applicants, and getting leases signed. You'll also support renewals, coordinate move-in and move-out paperwork, and stay in contact with maintenance to make sure resident concerns get resolved without dragging.
Marketing support is part of the job too. That means helping the team promote the community and contributing to the reputation scores that factor directly into your quarterly bonus.
Speaking of which: the bonus structure here is tied to occupancy, online reputation, and retention. Bonuses start at $175 per lease and go up to $2,000 per year on the quarterly side. The base pay runs $23 to $25 per hour. You'll also get a 50% rental discount if you live onsite.
Shoreline sits just north of Seattle and has seen steady multifamily demand tied to light rail expansion along the 1 Line. Communities in this corridor tend to see consistent traffic, which means a leasing consultant here stays busy. Strong candidates will know how to prioritize warm leads without letting cold ones go cold entirely.
The benefits package is thorough: 11 paid holidays, three weeks of PTO accruing from day one, 401(k) with up to 4% company match, full medical/dental/vision, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 per year, and paid parental leave. The wellness reimbursement and student loan PTO exchange program are less common in this segment and worth noting if those matter to you.
For someone early in a property management career, this role builds the core skills that feed into a leasing manager or assistant property manager position down the line. Griffis operates a national portfolio, so internal movement is a realistic path for strong performers.
