Housekeeper - Part Time

Groundskeeper / Porter

Multifamily communities run on first impressions, and the housekeeper is one of the people most responsible for making those impressions land. When a prospective resident tours the clubhouse or steps into a model unit, the condition of that space does real work. Weinstein Properties, a family-owned company with more than 70 years in the business and over 60 communities across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, takes that seriously at their Bexley at Left Bank community in Fort Worth.

This is a part-time, permanent role at 20 hours per week. Two schedule options give you some flexibility: Monday through Friday from 12 to 5pm, or two full days and one half day within standard business hours. Either way, it's a consistent, ongoing position with a stable employer.

What the Day Actually Looks Like

You'll move through the property with a clear sense of what needs doing. Common areas, the clubhouse, offices, and amenity spaces need daily attention. Model units and vacant ready homes get cleaned and refreshed so they're always show-ready. The coffee station gets stocked and cleaned. When a unit turns, you may be part of getting it prepped. The work is physical, it repeats, and some of it is genuinely unglamorous. That's not a surprise to people who do this well; it's just the honest shape of the role.

You'll work closely with the maintenance and leasing teams, which means communication matters. You might notice a maintenance issue while cleaning an amenity, or a leasing agent might need a model freshen before a last-minute tour. Being the kind of person who flags those things and helps without being asked is what makes someone genuinely useful on a property team.

Who Tends to Do Well Here

  • Reliable and punctual. This is a small team and your absence is felt.
  • Self-directed. You'll have a routine, but you won't always have someone checking behind you.
  • Detail-oriented in a practical sense. Noticing what's off before someone else does.
  • Physically up for the work. Prolonged standing and walking are part of every shift.
  • Comfortable with repetition. The same tasks recur because clean doesn't stay clean on its own.

Weinstein's approach has always leaned toward developing people rather than just filling slots. The $16.50 starting hourly rate, a quarterly bonus structure, and a $500 stay-on bonus after 90 days reflect that. This is the kind of employer where showing up consistently and doing good work actually gets noticed.
