It's 8 a.m. and the fitness center needs to be spotless before the morning rush of residents finishes their workouts. That's your first stop, and the pace from there stays steady through amenity spaces, the clubhouse, the leasing office, and vacant apartments getting prepped for incoming residents.

What This Role Actually Involves

Griffis Residential manages a portfolio of luxury apartment communities, and the Centennial property runs to that same standard. The housekeeping role here isn't limited to common areas. You'll move between shared amenity spaces and individual apartment homes, following make-ready cleaning checklists to get vacant units resident-ready on schedule. If a unit has been sitting on the ready list for more than a week, you'll do touch-up cleaning to keep it fresh. Findings that cross into maintenance territory get communicated to the Service Manager so nothing falls through the cracks.

Daily task lists come from the Community and Service Managers. You'll follow established product safety and procedure guidelines, which means paying attention to cleaning product labels and handling materials correctly in occupied and unoccupied spaces alike. Residents, prospective residents, and team members will cross your path throughout the day, so how you carry yourself in those moments matters to the community's overall feel.

Who Fits Well Here

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of cleaning experience in multifamily housing, hospitality, or a comparable setting
• Genuine attention to detail, especially across varied spaces with different cleaning standards
• Strong communication skills, both for resident interactions and for flagging issues to management
• English proficiency required; bilingual Spanish is a plus

The candidates who do well in this role tend to be self-directed once they know the standard. Make-ready cleaning has a checklist, but hitting that checklist well requires judgment, not just box-checking. Spotting what a unit needs before it becomes a resident complaint is the kind of instinct that separates a solid housekeeper from a great one.

Pay ranges from $20.75 to $23.00 per hour.
