Evening Concierge

Bozzuto
Full-time
On-site
San Francisco, California, United States
$55,000 - $58,000 USD yearly
Community Manager

What You'll Actually Do

This role runs Monday through Friday, 11am to 8pm, which means you're the face of the building during the hours residents actually use it. You're not managing a back-office inbox. You're greeting people coming home from work, handling the wave of packages that stacks up every afternoon, and solving whatever comes up before the evening shift ends. Small stuff and not-so-small stuff, back to back.

Bozzuto operates a portfolio of high-quality residential communities, and at this San Francisco property the concierge desk functions as the heartbeat of the resident experience. You'll plan and execute community events that actually get people to show up, not just calendar invites that get ignored. You'll manage front desk logs, coordinate club room and freight elevator reservations, and keep the package room from descending into chaos. You'll also help build the community's online reputation by encouraging satisfied residents to share their experiences on review platforms.

The social media piece is real work here. Bozzuto communities use social channels to generate leasing interest and keep current residents engaged, and you'll contribute to that effort with content that reflects the energy of the property.

What You Bring

  • At least two years working in hospitality, hotel, retail, or travel, where reading people quickly and responding gracefully was part of the job
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with digital tools, apps, and property software
  • A professional presence and genuine attention to detail
  • The ability to anticipate what someone needs before they ask for it
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds (package volume gets real during the holidays)

Context Worth Knowing

San Francisco's luxury residential market is competitive, and residents in Class A buildings have high expectations baked in from day one. The concierge role at this level isn't just about being friendly. It's about consistency. Residents notice when the experience slips, and they notice when it's excellent. Your ability to remember names, preferences, and even pets by name is the kind of detail that drives renewal decisions and five-star reviews more than any amenity upgrade can.

The 11am to 8pm window is worth thinking about honestly. You'll catch the tail end of move-ins, the full afternoon delivery surge, and the early evening resident return. It's a high-touch shift. People are tired after work and want things handled quickly and warmly. If you've thrived in a hotel front desk or concierge role where the afternoon-to-evening transition is the busiest stretch, that experience maps directly here.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $58,000, with bonus eligibility, benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage, 20 days of paid time off plus holidays, a 401k with company match, and tuition reimbursement.
