Community Manager - Broomfield, CO
Davis DevelopmentDavis Development is a privately owned luxury apartment developer with over 25 years in the business. They build and manage their own communities, and their on-site teams operate with genuine owner-operator authority. This Community Manager role in Broomfield, CO sits inside that structure.
The job pays from $90,000 and up, depending on experience.
You'll carry full responsibility for both the physical asset and the financial performance of the community. That means reading and acting on financial reports, tracking economic occupancy against vacancy, managing delinquency before it erodes NOI, and making sound leasing decisions throughout any lease-up phase. If numbers make you uncomfortable, this role will expose that quickly.
You'll also lead the on-site team day to day. Coaching, training, holding team meetings, keeping people focused on outperforming the competition. You'll work directly with the leasing team on marketing strategy, social media activity, and sales tactics. You'll inspect the grounds, buildings, and units regularly and make sure the property stays fully operational and safe. Resident interactions happen at the highest service level, full stop.
What you'll need
- Three or more years of property manager experience, preferred
- Lease-up experience, preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Comfort reading financial reports and applying what they tell you
- Detail-oriented with urgency. You catch things before they become problems.
- A self-starter mindset. You don't wait to be told what needs attention.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health coverage starting the first of the month after 30 days. Davis contributes 4% to a 401(k) and you're fully vested immediately. Company-paid life insurance at one times your base salary, a PTO package with carryover, training and career development, and a company apparel allowance round out the package.
One thing worth noting for candidates coming from third-party management: Davis is fully in-house. The management team is hands-on and present. You won't be navigating a fee-management structure where the owner and operator have competing priorities. You answer to one organization, and they trust you to make real decisions. Managers who thrive here tend to be the ones who actually want that accountability, not just the title.
