Capex project management also falls under your scope, which means tracking budgets, communicating with leadership, and keeping projects on schedule without losing sight of day-to-day operations. The ability to hold both the strategic and the tactical at the same time is what separates a strong Community Manager from an average one.

If your background is primarily in leasing or assistant management, this role accelerates your development in two areas that matter most for senior property management positions: full P&L accountability and cross-functional team leadership. You'll build experience recruiting and interviewing your own staff in collaboration with HR and your Regional Manager. You'll set performance goals, run site-level meetings, and coach a leasing and maintenance team through the full operating cycle. Those experiences translate directly to Regional Manager and Director of Operations roles down the line.

Working with tools like EliseAI and AIRM also gives you exposure to AI-assisted leasing and revenue management platforms that are reshaping how multifamily operators handle prospect communication and pricing. Getting hands-on experience with these systems now puts you ahead of peers who haven't worked in environments where that technology is already embedded in daily operations.

• At least 2 years of residential property management or relevant leadership experience required
• Proficiency in property management software required; Yardi Voyager, Rent Cafe CRM, EliseAI, and AIRM experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws required
• CAM certification preferred
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
• Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm, plus at least one Saturday per month
