The Position
Comstock is hiring a weekend overnight Concierge for JW Residences in Reston, VA, covering Saturday and Sunday from midnight to 8 a.m. This is a Class A residential building, and the overnight shift carries real responsibility. You're the sole point of contact for residents, guests, and anyone attempting to access the property during those hours. Access control, maintenance observation, and first impressions all fall on you when the rest of the team isn't there.
Day-to-day, you'll greet residents and guests, screen visitor access, manage incoming calls, and coordinate amenity or loading dock reservations. You'll conduct building walks to catch maintenance issues early, tidy common areas, and keep the front desk stocked and organized. When a resident has a complaint or a question at 3 a.m., you're the one who responds with composure and follows through.
What Comstock Is Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of concierge or upscale customer service experience, preferred
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and additional shifts as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A self-directed, high-energy personality that works well without supervision
- Sound judgment, discretion, and a strong sense of integrity
