Community Assistant Manager - Metro on Main

The Assistant Community Manager role at Metro on Main, a CloudTen Residential property in Mesa, AZ, sits at a specific and valuable crossroads in a multifamily career: you're operational enough to run the day-to-day, but still close enough to a working Community Manager to absorb how decisions get made at the property level. What You'll Actually Do

Most of your days will involve the financial and administrative engine of the property. That means collecting and posting rent, reconciling bank accounts, preparing deposits, processing invoices, and generating weekly and monthly reports. You'll be the person who keeps the numbers clean and the records accurate in the property management system. On the leasing side, you'll handle inquiries, conduct tours, and support lease renewals and resident retention programs. You'll also conduct inspections of units, common areas, and grounds, manage move-in and move-out administration, and prepare security deposit dispositions in line with Arizona landlord-tenant law.

When the Community Manager is out, you step into that role. That's not ceremonial. It means you need to know delinquency procedures, how to serve non-payment notices, and when to initiate eviction coordination. You'll also support the on-site team in day-to-day challenges and help model the operational standards CloudTen holds across its portfolio.

What You Bring

• At least two years of multifamily experience, ideally at a community of 300 or more units
• Solid command of property management software and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and Arizona landlord-tenant law
• Comfort with basic accounting principles and financial reporting cycles
• Strong organizational habits and the ability to reprioritize when the day shifts
• Communication skills that hold up across residents, vendors, and team members
