What the Day-to-Day Actually Looks Like

On any given week, you might be reviewing a vendor bid for a capital project in the morning, walking units with maintenance to confirm make-ready quality in the afternoon, and hosting a resident event that evening. The role is genuinely varied. You'll oversee both office and maintenance staff, which means your leadership skills get tested across two very different team cultures simultaneously.

Resident retention and renewal programs fall under your watch, as does leasing performance. You're responsible for marketing strategy and execution, not just approving what someone else builds. Regular property inspections, vendor contract negotiations, and compliance oversight are all part of the standard workload. Olympus uses RealPage, Knock, and OneSite, so familiarity with that stack will matter from day one.
