What You'll Actually Do

Dream Apartments sits in one of the most transient rental markets in the country. Las Vegas has a constant stream of incoming residents, relocators, and lifestyle renters, which means traffic at a well-positioned community like Dream tends to stay active. That's good news for a leasing consultant on commission. The challenge isn't just getting people through the door. It's converting that traffic efficiently, managing a live pipeline of prospects at different stages, and knowing when to push toward a close and when to let the relationship develop for a day or two.

Day to day, you're taking inbound inquiries, scheduling and conducting tours, and following up persistently until a prospect either signs or walks. AIR uses leasing and CRM systems to track activity, so accurate logging of appointments and next steps matters. You'll also be identifying which units give you the best shot at a higher commission: upgraded finishes, preferred floor plans, better views, or longer lease terms all create tiered earning opportunities on top of base pay and standard conversion bonuses.

Beyond the core leasing cycle, you'll support broader community marketing initiatives and, when needed, assist across the AIR portfolio. Fair Housing compliance is non-negotiable and expected as baseline professional knowledge, not a box to check.

What You Bring

  • At least one year of experience in sales, leasing, retail, hospitality, or another goal-driven customer-facing role
  • A track record of hitting or beating measurable performance targets, conversion rates, revenue goals, or similar metrics
  • Comfort guiding people through a decision: asking qualifying questions, presenting solutions, handling objections, and closing
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to manage multiple active prospects without letting follow-up slip
  • Willingness to work weekends and adjust availability seasonally
  • Reliable transportation and effective written and verbal communication in English

Context Worth Knowing

The compensation structure here rewards precision, not just volume. AIR builds in multiple commission tiers: exceeding monthly lease goals, placing residents in higher-rent units, and securing longer-term leases (18 months or more) each carry additional earning potential. A consultant who understands how to match a prospect's stated needs to a unit that also maximizes commission per lease will consistently outperform someone who defaults to showing the cheapest available option first. The 25% rent discount, including the option to live onsite, is a meaningful perk in a city where rental rates have climbed significantly over the past several years. The possible extended winter break is worth understanding: it's unpaid, but benefits including the rent discount remain active during that period, which functions as a seasonal reset between the slower and peak leasing periods.
