Apartment Leasing Sales Consultant | $16-$17.00/hr. plus bonus and commissions
Village GreenWhat You'll Actually Do at West Edge
The West Edge Apartments in Middleton, WI needs a leasing consultant who treats traffic like a pipeline, not a waiting room. Every inquiry that comes in is a lead. Your job is to qualify it fast, match the prospect to the right floor plan, get them on a tour, and move them through the funnel to a signed lease. That cycle, done well and done repeatedly, is what drives occupancy and keeps NOI on target.
Day to day, you're fielding calls and emails, scheduling and conducting tours, following up on prospects who went quiet, and coordinating move-in logistics once a lease is signed. You're also maintaining accurate records of every interaction in the property management software, because leasing ops run on clean data. When a prospect asks how West Edge compares to the community down the street, you should already know the answer. Staying current on local market conditions and competitor concessions is part of the role, not a bonus task.
Resident relationships matter here too. You're not just closing new leases and moving on. You're addressing current resident needs, communicating with the broader property management team, and showing up for community events that support marketing and retention. A leasing consultant who can hold occupancy steady while the team manages turns is genuinely valuable.
The pay runs $16 to $17 per hour, with bonus and commission on top. Weekends and some evenings are part of the schedule.

The Bigger Picture
Village Green has been in third-party and in-house property management since 1919, which means their systems, training, and career infrastructure are genuinely mature. For a leasing consultant who performs, that matters. Strong leasing numbers build the case for advancement into assistant manager or property manager roles, where you start owning the full income statement rather than just driving the top of the revenue line. Traffic-to-lease conversion ratios and follow-up speed are the two metrics that separate consultants who collect a base from ones who earn real commission and get noticed. If you track your own numbers and close with intention, the commission structure here rewards exactly that.
