Administrative Assistant
Lincoln Property CompanyIt's 9:05 AM and someone in the department just realized the conference room wasn't booked for the 10 o'clock. You fix it before they finish explaining the problem. That's the job.
What This Role Covers
Lincoln Property Company is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support a team in their Dallas office. This is a fully in-office, five-days-a-week position. The work is operational: keeping calendars organized, handling correspondence, maintaining filing systems, processing expense reports and invoices, ordering supplies, and making sure meetings actually happen without friction.
You'll also enter and maintain data in company systems, coordinate onboarding logistics for new team members, and draft or proofread memos and reports. Nothing on this list is glamorous. All of it matters. Lincoln operates one of the largest private commercial real estate portfolios in the country, and the administrative function is what keeps the department's day-to-day moving.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of administrative or clerical experience (commercial real estate background is a plus)
- Solid command of Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Good written communication skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage several tasks at once without being prompted on priorities
- Current authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
The candidates who do well in this kind of role tend to be the ones who treat follow-through as non-negotiable. Drafting a memo is straightforward. Making sure it reaches the right people, in the right format, on time, every time, is where the work actually lives. If you come from a background where you supported multiple people with competing deadlines and figured out the order yourself, that experience translates directly here.
Lincoln offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with traditional and Roth options, paid time off, company-paid life insurance and long-term disability, and an employee assistance program. Benefits eligibility and coverage details are provided during the hiring process.
