Real Estate Admin

Commercial property management at the portfolio level runs on administrative precision. When invoices pile up, tenant COIs lapse, or a financial report goes out with errors, it reflects directly on the management team's credibility with ownership. The Property Administrator role at Stream Realty Partners in Fort Worth exists to prevent exactly that, keeping the back office tight so property managers can focus on operations and client relationships.

What This Role Covers Day to Day

This is a full-cycle administrative position supporting the commercial property management team across office, industrial, or retail assets. The work splits fairly evenly between financial administration and operational coordination. On the financial side, you'll handle accounts payable coding and entry, route invoices for approval, and assist with monthly AR reviews including late and default notices. You'll also help compile monthly and quarterly financial reports for the property management team, so a working comfort with basic accounting concepts and spreadsheet accuracy matters here.

Operationally, you're the connective tissue between vendors, tenants, and the management team. That means managing certificates of insurance for vendors and tenants, preparing and coordinating service contracts, scheduling move-ins and move-outs, fielding work order requests, and supporting tenant events. Front-of-house duties also come with the role: answering phones, greeting visitors, and routing communications to the right people. It's a broad scope, and on any given day you might be reconciling an invoice, following up on an expired COI, and helping coordinate a tenant appreciation event.

Who Fits This Role Well

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, particularly in business, real estate, or a related field
  • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; Yardi experience is a meaningful advantage given Stream's platform use
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in financial data entry and document management
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for tenant-facing interactions and vendor coordination
  • Good organizational habits and the ability to manage competing priorities without dropping details
  • Basic accounting knowledge, including an understanding of AP/AR workflows

Fort Worth's commercial real estate market has grown steadily alongside DFW's broader economic expansion, with industrial and office assets both active in the submarket. Stream has a significant presence across the Metroplex, which means this role connects to a larger regional operation with real career development infrastructure behind it. For someone early in a commercial real estate career, a Property Administrator seat at a firm like Stream is a credible path toward a Property Manager role, given the direct exposure to financial reporting, vendor management, and client-facing work from day one.

Stream offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, vision, pharmacy benefits, HSA and FSA options, 401(k) with company match, PTO, and holiday pay. Specific compensation reflects individual experience and qualifications.
