Maintenance Technician III (550 Moreland)

What This Role Actually Involves

Prometheus Real Estate Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician III for their 550 Moreland property in Santa Clara. This is a lead-level position. You're not just completing work orders; you're guiding the team, managing vendor coordination, and keeping turns moving on schedule.

Day-to-day, you'll handle repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance systems. You'll own the make-ready process from punch list to final walk, track maintenance-related budgets, and support administrative duties tied to maintenance operations. Yardi is the work order system, so comfort with that platform matters.

On-call availability is required, including weekends. That's not a footnote here. It's a real part of the job.

What You Need to Qualify

• High school diploma or GED, plus at least three certificates from maintenance-related programs (BOMA, IREM, or vocational equivalents)
• Three to four years of apartment maintenance experience with solid working knowledge across all core trades
• At least one year of supervisory experience; two or more years is preferred
• Ability to use Yardi and manage digital work orders
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions when needed
• Availability for on-call and weekend coverage

The pay range for this role is $34.00 to $38.50 per hour, with standby pay and on-call premium pay on top of that.
