Maintenance Technician (HVAC Required)- Olympus Fenwick

Olympus Fenwick in Savannah, GA is adding a Maintenance Technician to the service team. This is a full-time, site-based role covering the standard Monday through Friday schedule with emergency on-call availability folded in. The pay range runs $24 to $25 per hour, with monthly and quarterly bonus eligibility on top of that.

What You'll Actually Do

The bulk of your day will look familiar if you've worked residential maintenance before: working through the service request queue, completing turns, handling preventative maintenance on HVAC units, and fielding the occasional after-hours emergency. HVAC is the non-negotiable here. Coil cleaning, filter changes, and full diagnostic work on units are expected skills, not things you'll learn on the property's dime.

Beyond HVAC, the role covers a wide scope of general maintenance: plumbing repairs and fixture replacement (sinks, showers, toilets), appliance troubleshooting and replacement across the standard kitchen and laundry lineup, electrical fixture and switch work, lock changes and door hardware, and basic carpentry and painting. You'll also support grounds and common area upkeep, including pools, and keep the maintenance shop organized and properly inventoried. Service requests are tracked in software, so comfort with basic digital tools is part of the job.

You'll work directly with the Lead Maintenance Technician on daily and weekly priorities, which keeps the workload structured rather than reactive. That said, emergencies don't schedule themselves, and weekend availability is part of the agreement.

What You Bring

• Minimum two years of maintenance experience in residential, apartment, or commercial settings
• EPA/HVAC certification (preferred, and genuinely expected given the role's focus)
• Working knowledge across plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and painting
• Availability for the Monday through Friday schedule and emergency call coverage
