Maintenance Supervisor

Apartment maintenance leadership works best when the supervisor carries real trade depth and still shows up with a wrench. That's the balance Weinstein Properties has refined across more than 70 years of family ownership and 60-plus communities in Virginia, Texas, and several other states. At Bexley Central Park in Grand Prairie, they're looking for a Maintenance Supervisor who can run a service team and stay hands-on with the work itself.

The Craft This Role Requires

This position draws on a specific combination of technical fluency and supervisory discipline. You need four or more years of trade experience covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliances, pool systems, and exterior structural work. EPA/CFC certification (Type I and II or Universal) is required before you start. Beyond the tools, you'll need at least one year of experience in an apartment maintenance lead, assistant supervisor, or supervisor role. Managing work orders through business software, scheduling turns, coordinating vendors, and communicating with the property management team via email are daily responsibilities, so basic computer proficiency is part of the job description.

On-call rotation is shared among team members, and a bonus is paid when you're carrying that responsibility. A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and your own tools are all required.

• 4+ years of trade experience across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems
• Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance lead or supervisory experience
• EPA/CFC certification, Type I and II or Universal
• Comfort using work order and property management software
• Valid driver's license, personal transportation, and hand tools
• Willingness to participate in shared on-call rotation

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with on-call responsibilities shared across the team. Compensation is experience-based with quarterly and annual bonus opportunities.
