What You'll Actually Do at Olympus Corsair

This role sits at the intersection of sales performance and team leadership. As Leasing Manager at Olympus Corsair in San Diego, you're driving occupancy metrics while also developing the leasing staff around you. That means your day splits between working deals directly with prospects and coaching your team through their own pipelines, follow-up cadences, and closing techniques.

On the operational side, you're preparing traffic reports, tracking leases, move-ins, and move-outs, and running weekly market surveys to keep the property competitive. You'll build and manage a structured follow-up system for your team covering phone calls, emails, and outreach to prospective residents. You're also the one visiting locators and local businesses to generate traffic, which means you need to know your product cold and sell it with confidence.

Resident retention is part of the KPI stack here, not an afterthought. Planning and participating in resident events, resolving concerns before they escalate, and maintaining a consistent standard of customer care all feed directly into renewal rates and NOI. San Diego's rental market is competitive enough that a few lost renewals per month adds up fast on a T-12.

RealPage, Knock, and Onesite experience is a hard requirement. If you've been entering traffic and lease data into those platforms, running reports, and using them to coach your team's activity, you'll hit the ground running. If you've only used them passively, this role will expose that gap quickly.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of apartment leasing or leasing management experience
  • Hands-on experience with RealPage, Knock, and Onesite
  • Comfort preparing market surveys, traffic reports, and leasing activity documentation
  • A track record of closing leases and coaching others to do the same
  • Availability Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with flexibility for resident events and rotating weekends
  • Strong written and verbal follow-up skills across email, phone, and in-person interactions

The Bigger Picture

Olympus Property has earned National Apartment Association Top Employer recognition three consecutive years (2023, 2024, 2025), which reflects something real about how the company operates internally. The base pay starts at $25.00 per hour, and this role carries monthly leasing commissions and resident renewal bonuses on top of that. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer matching, an apartment rental allowance, tuition reimbursement, and a sabbatical program.

For someone with genuine leasing management instincts, this role is a natural stepping stone toward an Assistant Property Manager or Property Manager seat. The skills you sharpen here, managing a leasing team's conversion metrics, owning traffic-to-lease ratios, running retention programming, translate directly to broader asset-level responsibility. The operators who move up fastest in this type of company are the ones who treat occupancy and renewal numbers as their personal scorecard, not just the manager's problem.
