Leasing Manager

Redstone Residential operates more than 38,000 beds across 20 states, making them one of the larger third-party student housing managers in the country. Their Boise property sits within a growing conventional portfolio, and this Leasing Manager role is the kind of position where you're close enough to the operation to matter but still have the Community Manager carrying the heavier administrative load. That's a reasonable place to build from.

The core of the job is occupancy. You'll work toward leasing goals through marketing campaigns, renewal pushes, and keeping your team pointed in the right direction. Day-to-day, that means prospect tours, fielding calls and emails, running the Entrata leasing workflow, and keeping resident ledgers clean. Delinquency doesn't fix itself, and neither does traffic that never converts. You'll need to be comfortable working both sides of that equation.

Redstone uses company-standard tools including Entrata, online listing platforms, and social marketing channels. If you've worked in a lease-up or managed renewals through a CRM before, you'll recognize the rhythm. If Entrata is new to you, it's learnable, but you'll want to come in already comfortable with technology generally. Microsoft Office, Gmail, Google Drive, and Dropbox are part of the daily workflow.

What tends to separate stronger candidates in this type of role is the ability to hold a conversation that actually converts. Leasing is sales, and the people who do it well don't just hand out floor plans. They read what a prospect actually needs, adjust their pitch, and follow up without being obnoxious about it. The resident happiness piece matters too. In student and conventional housing both, online reputation and renewals are downstream of how residents feel about the team they're dealing with.

What Redstone Is Looking For

• Strong customer service and sales instincts
• Comfortable with technology: Entrata experience is a plus, but solid computer literacy is required
• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• Able to keep pace in a busy leasing environment without losing attention to detail on ledger accuracy and communications

Compensation is $21.00 per hour. Benefits include health, vision, and dental coverage, 15 days of PTO, 10 paid holidays, three paid service days, paid parental leave, and a 401(k) with up to 6% company match.
