Leasing Consultant - 3300 Tamarac
MG PropertiesWhat You'll Actually Do
The Leasing Consultant role at 3300 Tamarac Apartments puts you at the center of the community's daily traffic. You'll greet and qualify prospective residents, walk units, and convert interest into signed leases. That means understanding fair housing compliance well enough to screen applicants correctly and consistently, preparing lease packages, and coordinating with the maintenance team to make sure move-ins go smoothly from a punch list standpoint, not just a paperwork one.
Day-to-day, you're also maintaining rental files, entering data accurately into property management software, and helping with the monthly administrative close. When residents come to you with complaints or maintenance concerns, you handle those conversations professionally and follow them through to resolution. Rent collection and delinquency follow-up are part of the rhythm too. This is front-line leasing work: visible, fast, and detail-dependent.
What You Bring
- At least one year of property management or related leasing experience (preferred)
- Sales instincts and customer service habits that hold up under pressure
- Comfort with leasing software and accurate data entry
- Professional communication skills, written and verbal
- The organizational discipline to keep files current and paperwork clean
- A team orientation. MG Properties promotes from within, which means your coworkers today are often your future peers at higher levels
Where This Role Fits in the Craft
Leasing Consultant roles build a specific skill set that transfers directly into senior leasing, assistant manager, and eventually property manager positions. You develop fluency in the full prospect-to-resident lifecycle: traffic generation, conversion, application processing, lease execution, and move-in coordination. If you're early in a property management career, this is one of the cleaner paths toward understanding how occupancy decisions affect NOI at the property level.
MG Properties has been acquiring and operating apartment communities across the Western U.S. for more than 30 years. Denver is a competitive multifamily market, and 3300 Tamarac sits in that context. Strong candidates here will know how to handle objections during a tour, recognize when a concession conversation is appropriate, and understand that consistent occupancy is built through dozens of small interactions done well, not just the occasional great tour. If you've worked a leasing office and learned to treat every walk-in as a real opportunity, this role will use that skill immediately.
