Leasing Consultant

Leasing is the revenue engine of any apartment community. Everything else, maintenance response times, amenity upgrades, renewal incentives, depends on the front door staying busy and converting. MG Properties has been doing this across the Western U.S. for over 30 years, and they're adding a Leasing Consultant at 3300 Tamarac Apartments in Denver.

What the Day Actually Looks Like

You're meeting prospects, qualifying them, getting them through the application process, and coordinating with maintenance so move-ins don't turn into a punch list of complaints on day one. Lease preparation and signing fall to you. So does keeping rental files current and data entered accurately into the system. Resident interaction doesn't stop at move-in either. Handling complaints, fielding maintenance concerns, and nudging timely rent payment are all part of the ongoing work. Monthly administrative tasks round out the cycle.

It's a full-loop leasing role. Traffic comes in, you work it, you close it, and you keep the relationship from falling apart afterward. If you've worked leasing before, you know the rhythm.

Who Fits Here

  • At least one year of property management or leasing experience preferred
  • Genuine sales and customer service skills, not just comfort talking to people
  • Professional presentation and written communication
  • Comfortable working within a team and taking direction
  • Organized enough to keep files accurate and administrative work complete

MG Properties promotes from within, and leasing consultant roles are historically where property management careers start. Assistant manager, then manager, then regional, it's a well-worn path for people who combine strong leasing performance with operational discipline. If that trajectory interests you, a company with a 30-year track record and a real portfolio gives you room to actually move.

Compensation runs $22 to $23 per hour, with monthly and quarterly bonuses on top of that. The company also offers profit sharing, a 401(k) with employer match, medical, dental, vision, and rental discounts. This position is expected to be filled in December 2026.
