Worth Ross Management Company runs luxury multifamily and HOA communities with a reputation built on service standards that most properties talk about but few consistently deliver. The Housekeeper role at their Downtown Austin Market District property sits at the center of that reputation. Every lobby presentation, every spotless amenity space, every orderly trash and recycling area either reinforces or undermines what residents paid for when they chose to live there. This position carries that weight directly.

The schedule is specific and worth understanding before you apply. Weekends are fixed: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Three weekday shifts run midday through early evening, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. That midshift window means you're working through peak resident activity, which is different from an early-morning hotel housekeeping role where you're cleaning before guests emerge. You'll be visible, you'll interact with residents and guests regularly, and the quality of those interactions matters as much as the cleanliness of the spaces you're maintaining.

The core of the work covers interior and exterior common areas: lobbies, corridors, amenity spaces, outdoor areas, floors, carpets, and surfaces. You'll also stay alert to anything that needs reporting, whether a maintenance concern, a safety issue, or a cleanliness problem developing in a space you didn't directly clean. That proactive awareness is a skill this role requires from day one.

What the role builds is equally real. Working in a luxury multifamily environment trains your eye for presentation standards that carry directly into hospitality, high-end hotel operations, or senior living facilities. You learn to internalize a quality threshold rather than just follow a checklist, which is what separates housekeeping professionals from people who are just cleaning.

What You Bring

  • Prior housekeeping experience in a luxury residential, hotel, or hospitality setting
  • Attention to detail that holds up across a full shift, not just at the start of the day
  • A service-oriented presence when interacting with residents and guests
  • The ability to work independently and manage your area without constant direction
  • Reliability and consistency, because in a luxury property, one off day is noticeable
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Pay runs $18 to $20 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, short and long-term disability, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, pet insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k).
