Groundskeeper / Maintenance Technician - Montair at Somerset Hill

Grounds and maintenance roles at apartment communities tend to get underestimated. At Montair at Somerset Hill in Tumwater, WA, Olympus Property is hiring a Groundskeeper/Maintenance Technician to own that first impression.

What the Role Involves

Your primary focus is curb appeal and cleanliness across the community. That means daily trash and debris pickup through common areas, parking lots, breezeways, hallways, laundry rooms, and other shared spaces. You'll also handle light cleaning and minor repairs as part of the make-ready process before new residents move in, keep an accurate inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and assist the office team periodically with door notices. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM.

Prior experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, facilities work, or janitorial services is required. You'll be working outdoors regularly, in all kinds of Pacific Northwest weather, so comfort with variable conditions is part of the job, not an occasional inconvenience. Physical requirements include the ability to lift 25 pounds and operate light equipment.
