Groundskeeper

By 7:45 a.m., you're already moving through Bexley Park with a blower on your back, clearing overnight debris from the walkways before residents head to work. That's what this role looks like most mornings.

The Work

Weinstein Properties is a family-owned company based in Richmond, Virginia, managing more than 60 apartment communities across five states. They've operated that way for over 70 years, and their approach to daily operations stays hands-on at every level. This groundskeeper position supports Bexley Park in Morrisville, NC.

The work is physical and repetitive by nature. Daily tasks include litter pickup, cleaning pet waste stations, maintaining landscaped areas through weeding and planting, operating equipment like backpack blowers and power washers, and supporting trash-outs on vacant units. Light painting and general housekeeping tasks come up too. You'll work outdoors year-round, including in heat, cold, and rain. Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly is part of the job, as is prolonged walking and bending throughout the day.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. No weekends.

Pay starts at $16 per hour with quarterly bonuses. There's also a $1,000 stay-on bonus available after 90 days in good standing.
