Front Desk Associate (Weekend Part-Time)- Union House
Action Property ManagementIt's 3:00 PM on a Saturday at Union House. The weekday team has handed off the desk, residents are returning from errands, and guests are arriving for the evening. For the next eight hours, you're the face of this luxury HOA community.
Action Property Management, one of the largest privately owned HOA management companies in the western United States, is looking for a part-time Front Desk Associate at Union House in San Francisco. The schedule is straightforward: Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Compensation runs $26.00 to $29.00 per hour depending on experience.
The Work
Front desk in a luxury HOA community is hospitality work with an operational backbone. You're managing access control, logging visitor activity, fielding resident requests, and keeping the building's evening hours running quietly and professionally. Union House is a high-end association, which means resident expectations are high and consistency matters. A missed package notification or a poorly handled guest situation gets noticed. A smooth, attentive shift usually doesn't, and that's the goal.
Weekend evenings bring their own rhythm. Foot traffic tends to cluster in waves, resident moods vary, and you'll handle more informal interactions than a weekday morning shift would see. Strong situational awareness and a calm, professional presence carry more weight here than any single technical skill.
What This Role Calls For
- Comfortable managing front desk operations independently during evening hours
- Professional communication with residents, guests, and vendors
- Reliable and punctual, particularly on weekends when coverage is critical
- Able to manage access control systems and maintain accurate logs
- Prior front desk, concierge, or customer-facing experience is a plus
For candidates considering where this kind of role leads: front desk experience at a well-run luxury HOA gives you direct exposure to how community operations function at the resident-facing level. People who do this work well and want to grow often move into assistant community manager or on-site coordinator roles. Action operates over 300 communities across nine offices, so internal mobility is real.
If evening weekend availability fits your schedule and you want to work in a professional, well-managed community environment, this is a position worth considering.
