Comstock's ParkX division runs overnight street sweeper routes across assigned zones in Springfield, VA. This role keeps parking areas, roadways, and exterior surfaces clean and presentable on a schedule that runs Sunday through Thursday (or similar five-day rotation), 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM.

What You'll Actually Do

You'll operate a commercial sweeper vehicle along designated routes, clearing debris, leaves, litter, and other material from exterior surfaces. Before and after each shift, you'll inspect the vehicle and equipment, log findings, and complete end-of-shift documentation for the incoming team. You'll track cleaning supply inventory and flag shortages or maintenance issues to the Senior Operations Manager.

Day-to-day, the work is largely independent. You follow a route, stick to the schedule, maintain your machine, and keep your assigned areas in good shape. You may also support special cleanup projects or cover different zones when teammates are out. During high-traffic events or busy seasons, weekend availability and flexibility past your regular hours will come up.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with no major violations
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle extended periods of standing, walking, and driving
• Comfort working outdoors in variable weather and in environments with noise
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Weekend and after-hours availability when needed
