That means coaching leasing and maintenance staff, keeping occupancy healthy, managing delinquency, and making sure the budget reflects reality rather than wishful thinking. Marketing the community, tracking traffic, and driving renewals all fall on your desk too. MG Properties expects their site leaders to own the numbers and the culture in equal measure.

Sacramento's rental market is competitive enough that a Community Manager who can read traffic trends and adjust concessions without being told will outperform one who waits for direction. What you'll need

• Recent, hands-on experience managing a multifamily apartment community
• Proven supervisory and team-building skills
• Solid grasp of property operations: budgets, marketing, sales, and reporting
• Yardi experience (preferred)
• Valid driver's license with proof of insurance

Compensation runs $72,000 to $85,000 annually depending on experience, with monthly and performance-based incentive bonuses on top of that.
