Community Manager - Las Brisas

What the Role Covers

Sunrise is looking for someone who can manage a residential community across every operational layer. That includes staffing (hiring, training, and evaluating on-site team members), leasing and renewals, resident relations, maintenance coordination, financial oversight, and compliance with California landlord-tenant law and Fair Housing regulations. You'll conduct regular property inspections of units, common areas, and grounds, enforce move-in and move-out protocols with thorough documentation, and keep delinquency in check through consistent rent collection practices.

On the financial side, you'll handle daily bank deposits, budget prep, and expense monitoring. On the leasing side, you'll manage traffic, maintain accurate records, and adjust pricing and marketing strategy based on local market conditions. The Upland submarket sits in the Inland Empire, which has seen steady renter demand and consistent occupancy pressure over the past several years, so understanding how to read comps and time concessions matters here.

• 1 to 2 years of property management experience required
• College degree or related coursework preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Working knowledge of California landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing, and basic accounting
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort with confidentiality and maintaining professional neutrality

This is a part-time position and is not eligible for company benefit plans. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour depending on experience, with the two-bedroom on-site apartment provided as part of the role.
