About SAIL

SAIL is a Twin Cities multifamily property management firm built on two principles: Legendary Service and Operational Mastery. We run lean, we run tight, and we hold an elevated standard across every community we manage. Our teams are expected to know their numbers, own their processes, and execute with consistency from day one through stabilization and beyond.

About Norra

Opening May 2026 in downtown Wayzata, Norra is SAIL's flagship boutique community designed to operate at the level of a private club. Amenities include an outdoor spa and sundeck, poolside cabanas, fitness center, golf and sports simulator suite, co-working and conference space, private dining room, club room, sauna, outdoor grilling areas, and a stocked coffee and tea bar. The bar for execution here is high, and residents will expect a white-glove experience delivered with consistency and warmth.

About the Role

The Assistant Business Manager is the operational and administrative anchor for Norra during lease-up and beyond. You will own the systems, documentation, financial accuracy, and operational infrastructure that allow Norra to lease and perform at a premier level from day one, while also delivering a resident experience that matches the product. Reports to the Business Manager with close partnership across Regional Management, Corporate Marketing, and the Leasing Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing and Lease-Up Execution: Support leasing velocity, prospect conversion, and occupancy goals; oversee move-ins, transfers, renewals, and resident communications with precision; manage the prospect and move-in process from application through occupancy with high accuracy and follow-through.
  • Resident Experience and Service Standards: Establish and uphold a service standard where every resident interaction reflects Norra's brand positioning; respond to resident needs professionally and with appropriate urgency; coordinate touchpoints, communications, and community events in alignment with brand and operational standards.
  • Lease-Up and Community Buildout: Serve as the on-site operational lead during pre-leasing, opening, and early stabilization; maintain consistent execution under the pace and pressure of lease-up; proactively identify operational gaps and implement solutions before issues escalate.

  • Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, company holidays, MN Earned Sick and Safe Time
