Pacific City, Oregon, United States
$22 - $22 USD hourly
Leasing Consultant

Pacific City sits in a stretch of the Oregon Coast that draws vacation traffic year-round, not just in summer. The combination of beach access, state park proximity, and short driving distance from Portland means short-term rental turnover here is real and recurring. Keeping those homes guest-ready between stays requires someone who can move quickly, spot problems before guests do, and take ownership of the physical condition of each property.

Roofstock, which expanded into short-term rental management through its 2025 stake in Casago, is hiring a Hospitality Coordinator to serve as the field-level operator for a portfolio of STR homes in this market. The pay is $22.50 per hour, and the company provides a $135 monthly car allowance plus $100 monthly for tools and equipment. The schedule is full-time with two days off per week, but availability for weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings is a genuine requirement, not a formality.

The work centers on keeping homes functional, clean, and stocked for every arrival. That means pre- and post-stay inspections, restocking consumables, handling light maintenance tasks like bulb replacements or TV resets, resetting decor, making beds, removing trash, and leaving welcome touches for incoming guests. When something goes wrong mid-stay, you're the person dispatched to handle it on the ground. You'll document issues through task management tools, flag supply irregularities, and coordinate with a maintenance team when a problem goes beyond your scope. You'll also support Hospitality Managers with dispatching during off-peak hours and cover other zones in the market when volume requires it.

This role reports to a Team Lead within Hospitality Ops. Performance is measured against guest review scores (the portfolio target is a 4.8 average or higher), inspection completion rates, task accuracy, and how consistently homes meet brand standards between stays.

What Roofstock is looking for

  • At least one year of experience in hospitality, vacation rental care, property maintenance, or a closely related field
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow brand checklists consistently across multiple properties
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and moving through properties on foot throughout a shift
  • Comfortable with mobile apps and task tracking software
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle
  • Available to work weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations

The candidates who do well in this type of role tend to be self-managing in the field. A team lead isn't walking properties with you. You're reading a checklist, making judgment calls about what needs to be flagged versus fixed on the spot, and moving on to the next home on time. Guest review scores in the STR space respond quickly to small oversights, so the attention-to-detail requirement here is tied directly to measurable outcomes, not just a hiring preference.
