This is a straightforward seasonal gig at a multifamily community in the Fort Worth Clearfork area. No lifeguard certification required. No full-time commitment. Just consistent, reliable presence during the hours residents actually use the pool.
Your job is to keep the pool area running smoothly during peak hours. That means checking that people using the pool are authorized residents or their guests, enforcing community rules without confrontation, keeping the deck and bathrooms clean, and emptying trash throughout your shift. You'll also close down the pool at the end of each shift. Occasionally you may check in on other amenity spaces like the gym or business center. Most of the work is observational and maintenance-oriented. You're not a lifeguard, but you are the person responsible for keeping order in a shared space.
Shifts run evenings on weekdays (6pm to 10pm) and stretch into full or half days on weekends. Total hours range from 8 to 20 per week depending on availability. The position runs through September or October, though the busiest demand is earlier in the season. Weinstein Properties is upfront that employment through the full duration isn't guaranteed.
Enforcing pool rules is the part of this job most people underestimate. Telling a resident their guest count exceeds the limit, or that the pool is closing in ten minutes, isn't always a warm conversation. You don't need to be aggressive about it, but you do need to be consistent. Residents who push back on rules are common at any apartment community. If that kind of interaction makes you uncomfortable, it's worth thinking through before applying.
Pay runs $15 to $16 per hour. Weinstein Properties has noted flexibility for candidates who can only cover certain shifts or need to wrap up before the season ends. If your schedule only fits a few of these windows, they still want to hear from you.
