Leasing Professional - Solaris at Tucson
CloudTen ResidentialTucson's multifamily market has seen steady renter demand driven by University of Arizona enrollment, a growing tech and defense sector presence, and continued in-migration from California and Phoenix. For a leasing professional, that means a real mix of traffic: students, young professionals, and relocating renters, each with different priorities. Solaris at Tucson sits inside that demand current, and CloudTen Residential is looking for someone who can convert that traffic into signed leases.
What This Role Actually Involves
CloudTen's portfolio spans hotel-to-residential conversions, high-rise lease-ups, and value-add repositioning projects across the West. This position is grounded in day-to-day leasing and community administration at Solaris, a community that requires someone comfortable with volume and process. The role carries real lease-up expectations: prior experience at a 150-plus unit property is required, so candidates coming from small boutique communities may find the pace and paperwork load an adjustment.
Core responsibilities include:
- Conducting tours, qualifying prospects, and tailoring your pitch to what each renter actually cares about
- Handling all leasing paperwork accurately: applications, leases, addenda, and move-in packets
- Collecting and processing deposits, rent payments, and resident fees
- Running regular market surveys to track local competition, pricing, and trends
- Inspecting vacant units before showings and flagging make-ready concerns to maintenance
- Following up with prospects and managing resident relations throughout the lease lifecycle
- Maintaining compliance with Fair Housing laws and ADA requirements in every interaction
Software proficiency matters here. CloudTen uses OneSite and considers Entrata experience a meaningful plus. These platforms handle everything from applications to accounting entries, and fluency with them reduces errors on the administrative side of the role.
What Sets Strong Candidates Apart
The baseline is two years of leasing or sales experience and a real working knowledge of property management software. But the candidates who perform well in roles like this tend to bring something more specific: they treat their follow-up pipeline like a sales professional treats a CRM. They remember what a prospect said on the tour, they send correspondence that doesn't feel templated, and they push for occupancy without losing the relationship. Leasing bonuses are part of the compensation structure here, which means your income has a direct connection to how well you close.
Pay runs from $21 to $23 an hour depending on experience, with leasing bonuses on top. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, an FSA, company-paid life insurance, and paid time off. CloudTen positions itself as a growth-oriented operator, and for a leasing professional who wants a path toward assistant management or community management, a company with an active and varied portfolio gives that progression real footing.
