$25 - $27 USD hourly
Leasing Consultant

A prospect calls about a two-bedroom at The Westbury, but after a few questions, Champion Hills at Windyke is the better fit. You know both properties well enough to make that call confidently, schedule the tour, and follow up the same day.

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is hiring a full-time Leasing Manager to own the leasing function across two neighboring southeast Memphis apartment communities: The Westbury and Champion Hills at Windyke. Each property has its own Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager, so you're not running operations. You're running leasing. That means traffic, follow-up, applications, move-ins, and occupancy, across both sites, coordinated with two property teams.

The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday, with one Saturday off per month. Pay ranges from $25 to $27 per hour, plus $130 commission per move-in and quarterly and annual bonus opportunities. Benefits include medical, dental, disability, and other insurance options, a 401(k) with profit-sharing, paid time off, and paid holidays.

What the Job Covers

Day to day, you're responding to leads across every channel, conducting tours, comparing units across two communities with prospects, and moving applications through to approved move-ins. You'll also provide direction and support to the Leasing Consultant assigned to the two-property campus and help coordinate Saturday leasing coverage.

Beyond the front-end sales cycle, you'll assist with renewals, resident relations, leasing paperwork, and file accuracy. You'll keep both property managers informed on leasing activity, priorities, and pipeline.

What MRG Is Looking For

  • At least two years of apartment leasing experience, required
  • Prior experience in a senior leasing, leasing manager, assistant manager, or multi-site leasing role, preferred
  • Strong follow-up habits and organized approach to managing leads and applications
  • Comfortable providing day-to-day guidance to another leasing employee
  • Proficient with CRM software and general computer use
  • Valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Able to pass background, credit, and drug screenings

The candidate who stands out will have handled multi-site or high-volume leasing before, because splitting attention across two communities while keeping both pipelines moving takes a different kind of organization than single-property leasing. If you've managed your own traffic board, coached a junior leasing consultant, and still kept your close rate up, this role fits that profile well.

Makowsky Ringel Greenberg is an established Memphis property management company with room to grow for the right person.
