Leasing Consultant

The Experience Team Member (ETM) role at Scion's 257 Thayer property in Providence puts you at the front line of student housing leasing and resident engagement. This isn't a pure desk job. You'll split time between showing units, working social platforms, handling package logistics, supporting maintenance follow-up, and covering after-hours lockout rotation. The role sits at the intersection of sales and community management, and the pace follows the academic calendar closely.

What You'll Actually Do

Day-to-day, you're the face of the community. That means giving tours, fielding objections, and feeding honest intel back to management about what's stalling lease conversions. You'll help execute leasing and marketing initiatives, contribute to social media content, and assist in planning resident engagement events. On the admin side, you handle package retrieval, office upkeep, and coordination with the maintenance team on open work orders. You're also part of an on-call rotation for after-hours lockouts, so availability matters here.

Turn periods at student properties are intense. Move-out and move-in happen in a compressed window, and the ETM role is expected to be present and reliable during those stretches, along with summers and holidays when most people want time off.
