Groundskeeper

Eden Commons is a 196-unit community in Eden Prairie, and Bigos Management is looking for a Groundskeeper to keep it looking sharp from the parking lot to the pool deck. This is a Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. position, which makes it a steadier schedule than a lot of facilities roles out there.

The work spans both exterior grounds and interior common areas. On any given morning, that might mean watering and pruning flowerbeds, blowing leaves off walkways, checking light fixtures in the foyers, and cleaning laundry rooms before residents start their day. Minnesota winters add a real layer to this job: shoveling, sanding icy walkways, and keeping pedestrian areas safe during stretches of freeze-thaw cycles that can make paths genuinely hazardous. Summer means pool area upkeep, patio furniture setup and takedown, and staying on top of landscaping during growing season. The property changes what it asks of you depending on the month.

Beyond grounds work, you'll assist the maintenance team on turns and make-readies as needed, including paint touch-ups in vacant units and clearing out abandoned property. You'll also walk the property daily, which keeps you close to what's actually happening on the grounds and gives the team real-time eyes on conditions that could turn into bigger issues.
