Full-Time Senior Concierge - Morning, Mid, Evening

Leasing Consultant

Village Green has been managing multifamily communities since 1919, which means they've had a long time to figure out what resident experience actually looks like in practice. This Senior Concierge role at their Shaker Heights property sits at the center of that experience: you're the first face residents, guests, and prospects see, and a lot of what happens next depends on how that first interaction goes.

What the Day Actually Looks Like

Shifts run morning, mid, and evening, and the site operates with that full coverage in mind. Day to day, you're managing the front desk and lobby, retrieving packages, directing visitors, handling service request intake, and making sure residents feel like someone's actually paying attention. When the leasing office is closed or traffic picks up unexpectedly, you step into a leasing support role: distributing floor plans and brochures, completing guest cards, doing mini-tours, and answering prospect questions. You're not expected to close leases, but you are expected to keep warm leads warm.

Communication is a real part of this job. You'll contribute to resident newsletters and social media touchpoints, so being able to write clearly and represent the community's voice matters more than most concierge postings let on. You'll also field questions about local restaurants, transit, and neighborhood amenities. Knowing Shaker Heights helps; it's a walkable, transit-adjacent suburb with a distinct character, and residents who choose to live there tend to ask specific questions about it.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED at minimum
  • Real customer service experience, ideally in hospitality, multifamily, or a resident-facing role
  • Comfort with social media and basic written communication
  • Flexibility to work any shift across any day of the week
  • Strong organizational habits and the judgment to handle minor conflicts without escalating everything
  • Team orientation. This is a shift-based role, and handoffs matter.

Where This Role Tends to Lead

Concierge roles at well-run communities are genuinely good entry points into property management. The people who move up from this position are the ones who treat it as a learning post: they watch how the leasing team handles traffic, they learn fair housing basics without being told to, and they develop a feel for resident relations that carries into assistant manager or leasing consultant roles down the line. Village Green's size (a century-old company with a national footprint) means internal movement is realistic, not just something written in an offer letter.

Pay runs $17.49 to $22.50 hourly with a bonus program. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with a company match.
