Daytime Concierge

The front desk at a Bozzuto community is a lot busier than it looks. Between 10 AM and 7 PM on a typical weekday, a daytime concierge might field a package overflow from the holiday rush, reserve the freight elevator for a move-in, post something to social media that actually gets engagement, troubleshoot a resident complaint with enough grace that the person leaves smiling, and still greet a prospect by name on their second visit. That's the rhythm of this role at Bozzuto's Silver Spring property, and it rewards people who find that kind of variety energizing rather than exhausting.

Bozzuto manages some of the more thoughtfully designed residential communities in the mid-Atlantic, and the concierge position sits at the center of the resident experience. You're not just staffing a desk. You're the person residents reference when they tell a friend why they renewed. Knowing residents by name, knowing their routines, knowing which ones have dogs and which ones expect a certain level of formality , that's the kind of detail that builds genuine loyalty and drives positive reviews on the platforms that actually influence lease decisions.

Event planning is a real part of the job, not a footnote. You'll be responsible for conceiving and executing resident events that actually get people to show up, which takes more creativity than most postings let on. The social media component matters too. Bozzuto communities maintain an active presence, and a concierge who can generate authentic content and encourage satisfied residents to post reviews contributes directly to leasing traffic.

What separates strong candidates here is hospitality instinct , the ability to read a room, de-escalate a tense moment without a script, and make a first-time visitor feel like they've already arrived home. Two or more years in hotel, travel, retail, or a similar customer-facing environment gives you the baseline. The rest is temperament.

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (package volume is real, especially Q4)

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM, at a rate of $23.08 per hour with bonus eligibility. Bozzuto's benefits package covers medical, dental, and vision, 20 days of paid time off plus holidays, a 401(k) with company match, and tuition reimbursement.
