The Modern Residences sits in Austin's Seaholm District, one of the city's more distinctive live-work-play corridors. The concierge desk is the first and most consistent point of contact residents interact with daily. Worth Ross Management Company is hiring a full-time Concierge to fill that role.

What You'll Actually Do

Your shift starts at the front desk. You greet residents by name, check in guests and vendors, and manage building access according to established protocols. Packages get logged in BuildingLink. Deliveries get tracked. Requests get routed to the right people. When a resident has a concern or an emergency situation surfaces, you handle it calmly and escalate when necessary.

A lot of this work is repetitive in the best way. Strong concierges build consistency. Residents learn they can count on you for accurate information, quick follow-through, and discretion. That last part matters more in luxury high-rise than most people expect. Residents in buildings like this often have high privacy expectations, and honoring those without being prompted is part of the job.

WRMC runs BuildingLink for activity and package logging, so comfort with property-level software is useful. The schedule requires flexibility to cover morning or afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays.

What You Bring

  • Background in hospitality, luxury residential, or a high-touch customer service environment
  • Clear, professional communication with residents, vendors, and guests
  • Composure under pressure and a solution-first approach when issues arise
  • Attention to detail in logging, tracking, and following up on requests
  • High school diploma or equivalent; prior concierge or front-of-house experience preferred
  • Comfort with email and property or concierge management systems

Context Worth Knowing

Concierge roles at luxury high-rises are often a strong entry point into property management careers. People who excel here frequently move into leasing consultant or assistant community manager positions, particularly at companies like WRMC that promote from within. The skills you build, resident relations, vendor coordination, professional communication, and software fluency, transfer directly to nearly every other role in multifamily operations.

The benefit package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, short and long-term disability, an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, pet insurance, retirement, and paid time off.
