Client Service Extraordinaire- Austin TX
Rise Association Management GroupHOA management firms live or die by their frontline communication. Association managers carry the strategy, but the person fielding homeowner calls, routing service tickets, and keeping board members informed is the one who actually shapes how residents experience the company every single day. Rise Association Management Group is hiring for that role, titled Client Service Extraordinaire, based in Houston's 77098 zip code.
What This Role Actually Looks Like
This is a high-volume customer service position embedded inside a growing third-party HOA management company. You'll field inbound calls and emails from homeowners, residents, and board members covering the full range of association life: billing questions, deed restriction concerns, architectural review requests, access issues, and maintenance reports. The expectation is a two-hour response window on service tickets, which means your day moves fast and your organizational habits need to be airtight.
You'll work closely with Association Managers, Facilities Managers, and the Accounting team to push issues to resolution rather than just logging them. That coordination piece is real work. Getting an answer back to a homeowner on a billing dispute means you're following up internally, not just forwarding the email and hoping. Rise uses the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework to structure their operations, which brings more process discipline than you'd find at most regional AMCs.
The position is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime. Pay runs $18 to $20 per hour.
What Rise Is Looking For
- Three to five years of professional work experience, with at least one year in property management or hospitality preferred
- High school diploma required; two years of college coursework preferred
- Strong conflict resolution skills and composure when conversations get difficult
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook, plus accurate data entry
- Organized enough to manage digital and physical filing systems simultaneously
- Clean written communication and familiarity with professional business correspondence
Benefits include 20 days of PTO annually, 10 paid holidays, group health insurance with 75% employer-paid premiums, life and AD&D insurance, optional dental, vision, and short-term disability, and a 401(k).
The candidates who tend to stand out in roles like this are the ones who understand that HOA residents are also homeowners with real financial stakes in their community. Tone matters. Someone who can de-escalate a frustrated board member's call about a landscaping vendor and still document the issue cleanly for the manager's follow-up is worth a lot more than someone who's simply friendly. The two-hour response SLA is a real accountability measure, so if you've worked in environments with defined service expectations, that experience translates directly here.
